A very rare copy of Vu magazine from 1931. The cover features a Martin Munkacsi portrait of Leni Riefenstahl. Riefenstahl, an actress who had starred in skiing / mountain films in her native Germany, is better known as tthe Third Reich's documentary film maker.
The editor and fellow Hungarian Stefan Lorant encouraged Munkacsi to come and work in Germany for the illustrated press.
