The Camera Oversea - The Spanish War Kills It's  First Woman Photographer

LIFE Magazine's two page tribute to Gerda Taro who was killed in the retreat from Brunete. She died on 27th July 1937 when a republican tank collided in a car she was traveling in.

LIFE Magazine described her as being 'Probably the first woman photographer ever killed in action'.
Taro was buried in Pere Lachaise cemetry in Paris on August 1st 1937.

The magazine is complete and has been removed from a binder. There is a small piece of paper loss at the bottom of the front cover .
