Henry G. Blogg G.C. Cromer Lifeboat R.N.L.I. Illustrated 2nd March 1940

Illustrated photographer R. Saidman documents Coxswain Blogg and the crew of the Cromer Lifeboat in Norfolk. The photo essay features portraits of the entire crew of the boat consisting of two families of Davies'.
 
Sadly, later in the war Signalman Walter Allen and Willam Henry Davies were to lose their lives. William and his family were killed when a bomb destroyed their home.
 
An exceptional rare, complete and original magazine. The staples have been replaced and there is an archival repair to the inside of the spine. The magazine is in good original condition with some age related wear.
