James Jarche 'Meat Hound' B17F 306th Bomb Group Illustrated 12th June 1943

An original copy of Illustrated magazine 12th June 1943. The cover features a portrait of Sgt. Frank T. Lusic, right waist gunner of the B17F "Meat Hound" of the 423rd Bomb Squadron, 306th Bomb Group. In the article entitled 'How a Gunner Dresses', Jarche documents Lusic's routine as he prepares for a mission over Germany.
The magzine is vintage and in very good condition.
